About Our Club

The Muskego Icetronauts was started in December of 1968, by a group of friends interested in snowmobiling. The name "Icetronauts", a spin-off of the space program which was in full swing at the time, was chosen as the club's name.

Our club's primary purpose is to promote safe snowmobiling, provide safe trails and activities and be of service to the community of Muskego. The club and all it's members belong to the (AWSC) Association of Wisconsin Snowmobiling Clubs, (WCSA) Waukesha County Snowmobiling Association, and the (RCSA) Racine County Snowmobiling Alliance.

We currently maintain 35 miles of groomed trails, 21 of them are state funded. We have a Christmas party with Santa and gifts for the children. We throw a Landowner Appreciation Dinner (for members and landowners). We also have many more activities, (please see our schedule of events).

Club trails run on private property of landowners who have given the club permission to use a specific section of their land, so please respect their private property. The landowners are courteous enough to allow us to use their land, so again, stay on the marked trails.

The club owns a Groomer with an Arrow Drag for trail grooming.
Please come and join us sometime soon. Your support will help snowmobiling!
