Fall 2009 Snowmobile Safety Course Info

The Icetronauts Snowmobile club is proud to present a snowmobile safety course.


Graduates of the course are awarded the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Snowmobile Safety Certification.

Snowmobile safety certification is mandatory for all riders between the ages of 12 & 16 in Wisconsin.
The minimum age to take the course is 11, however, the certification is not awarded until age 12.
The following subjects are taught in the course:

Additionally, a snowmobile is brought into the class room for hands-on parts identification and maintenance instruction.
The student is taught what safety features are present on a snowmobile and how to do minor maintenance such as changing the belt and plugs.

The cost for this course is $9 for City of Muskego residents and $11 for all others.

The course is taught at the Baylane Middle School, S. 75, W. 16399 Hilltop Dr., Muskego Wisconsin.

We try to limit class size to 35, so hurry and register.
