Wisconsin Snowmobile Trail Stickers

The annual non-resident trail sticker costs $18; The majority of the fee goes for trail maintenance; the remainder goes for enforcement and administration. The sticker is required for operating in or on any public locations, snowmobile trails or corridors open to the public, or locations where permission is required to operate a snowmobile.

Non-resident trail stickers and snowmobile registrations can be purchased at DNR Service Centers, many other DNR offices and ranger stations across the state, all county clerks’ offices, and many private businesses in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Department of Tourism Information Centers in Chicago, Kenosha, and Beloit carry the stickers, as does F & R Sales & Service in Waukegan, Ill.
