Trail Roamer 2000

Three R Industries, the company that brought us the Manta and the Raider, has announced that it will bring a new snow machine to the market in the new millennium. It's called the Trail Roamer 2000. Similar to the Manta and Raider, the Trail Roamer will use a pair of tracks in the rear, each mounted on an independent skidframe. The rails will be made from extruded aluminum, and the remainder of the components will be stainless steel. Both skids will offer 8.5 inches of travel utilizing Gabriel shocks and coil over springs. An additional three inches of travel will be offered by the spring and shock suspended seat, similar to what semi-trucks use. Due to overwhelming customer response, Three R Industries, Inc. is upping the power of the new Trail Roamer. The new Kohler engines are 100cc larger and will produce approximately 25% more power. The standard engines will be carbureted, but the EFI option will generate slightly more power.

The Trail Roamer will be available in late October at $7,995 (US) retail. Discounts are given for pre-production orders with deposits. The Roamer was recently taken to a test site in Logan, Utah for photos and testing on the snow.
